Purpose of Program

Early Childhood Services program offers a licensed 808/809 professional to represent districts' interests in providing quality early intervention services to their students.

Program and Service Activities Provided

  • Assist with screenings.
  • Conduct evaluations and provide timely reports.
  • Participate in IEPs.
  • Consult on EC program options.
  • Provide individualized and small group instruction.
  • Establish play groups for EC programming.

Membership Fee

Early Childhood fees are determined by the cost of the professional's salary and fringe benefits, supplies, materials, insurance, travel, and prorated shared costs for the overhead expenses associated with the CESA #3 facilities.

Budget and Contractual Projection:

All contractual amounts for itinerant staff members submitted on the CESA #3 contract for services are for budget estimates only.  Actual units of service provided to member districts are unknown at the time that CESA #3 submits contracts to its member districts. These estimates, provided on the contract, are based upon the district’s previous January enrollment within the specific area of service and assumed there is no change in the child, the number of participating districts, and CESA’s overall program enrollment. Each year member districts will experience modifications, which may increase or decrease the level of services and/or expenditures associated within a specific program area. Actual contractual amounts will be adjusted quarterly with the final audit completed at the close of the school term.
